Careers

Careers at Valemont.

We are building the preeminent garment care platform in the country, one well-run laundromat and dry cleaner at a time. We buy businesses owners built, and we operate them for the long term. Two roles are open.

How we operate

The Valemont Operating Code.

Extreme Ownership

Own every outcome. Fix what is broken. No blame.

Long-Term

We are building a generational platform. Every decision serves the long term.

People

Empty seat over wrong person. Character before capability.

Conviction

We are, or we are not. Speak with belief.

Bias for Action

Speed wins deals. Decide with seventy percent of the information.

Open role

Private Equity Sales Partner.

Remote · Independent contractor · Your own schedule

You are the front door of every acquisition. You find laundromat and dry cleaning owners who may be ready to sell, have a real conversation about their business, and book the qualified ones with Arthur. From there, you watch the deal move from first call to closing.

What you will learn

  • How a buyer reads a small business: revenue, the lease, the equipment, how much the owner carries.
  • How an offer is built and a deal is closed, alongside outside counsel, accountants, and a board that has run public companies.
  • A structured, questions-first way of selling that stays with you for the rest of your career.

How the work happens

  • Weekly pipeline reviews, call reviews, and methodology sessions. The cadence is what makes the team sharper every cycle.
  • Every call is recorded, first for your own coaching, then for the team.
  • A 48-hour response standard, in both directions.
  • A meritocracy. Sales Partners who put up results grow into bigger roles as the firm scales.

Who does well here

People who show up to every review, treat rejection as information, and want to see how acquisitions actually happen in their first month rather than their fourth year.

Compensation is a commission on each deal you sourced that closes. Email arthur@valemg.com for details on the role.

The application asks for a resume, a few logistics questions, and a 60-second video. A real person reviews every application.

Open role

Non-Executive Director, Dry Cleaning.

Board seat · A few hours a month

A seat on the Valemont Group board for an operator who has run dry cleaners and knows the trade from the counter to the plant.

What you would do

  • Advise on acquisition due diligence and risk from an operator’s point of view.
  • Help the board evaluate dry cleaning targets: plants, equipment, environmental questions, and what the numbers do not show.
  • Provide governance input as the board moves to a quarterly cadence.

Time

A few hours a month, rising to five to fifteen during active deal review. At least one board meeting a year, with updates by email every one to four weeks.

The board you would join

Chaired by the founder of AT&T Capital, alongside operators who have built and run laundry chains, route operations, and franchise systems. Meet the team.

Compensation is founders’ equity. No capital contribution is required.
