What a laundromat or dry cleaner sells for.
How much is a laundromat worth?
Most established laundromats sell for roughly 2.5 to 5 times EBITDA, the yearly earnings after every operating cost, including a manager to run the store. A store that collects $300,000 a year and earns $75,000 after all of that would trade between about $187,500 and $375,000. Where it lands inside the range depends on everything a buyer verifies.
How much is a dry cleaner worth?
The same 2.5 to 5 times EBITDA range applies to established dry cleaners. A plant is priced on its earnings after the labor a buyer must pay for and on what the equipment will need. A drop store is priced on its customer book and its wholesale arrangement.
Is the calculator range an offer?
No. It is a first range from the numbers you enter. An offer comes after a buyer reads the documents: returns, P&Ls, the lease, and the equipment list.
